nose job

Well at last I am getting my nose fixed. I have been waiting long enough. And yesterday they told me it would be 6-8 week wait.

When I phoned today to book my place on the list it's only 2 weeks and I am going in on 4th August! That has to be the fastest ever NHS service. I should be in for one night, maybe 2. And I get 3 weeks off work to get better. :D

Now I just need to get the paperwork sorted so the credit cards and bank loan pay themselves, might as well use the insurance I'm paying for.

I was down to have my septum moved some years ago; I saw the consultant, and then went away and got pregnant. When Emma was a few months old, I suddenly got a date to have my nose done!

I didn't bother having it done in the end in the end - since Emma I've never had the problem I was having before with constantly 'blocked' left side to my nose.

I have a hole in the middle that needs some cartlidge removing and then the membrane gluing up over it and the septum bends to the right but because of the hole it can only be trimmed to stop it blocking my sinus.

I'm going to have a lovely bruised face at the end of it!

Well, it probably sounds nastier than it'll actually be.

And the best bit is - you'll be able to breathe properly at the end of it.
