Hi
As some may know i am in the early stages of planning my wedding and as we are planning on going abroad i know i need to send invites out to those coming with us in plently of time.
I love butterflies and so will be having them as my theme.
I like this invite
http://www.confetti.co.uk/productCategory/view/1359-0-Butterfly_invitations.do
And since i'm a crafter wud need to make them myself but i can't figure out how to do the butterflies further down the page
Any help would be greatly appreciated

That is gorgeous but sorry I cannot help with how they have done it - personally I would say it is machine done though!

I'm afraid to say the clue is in the question, as it were. They are laser cut, which means that if you want them, you will have to pay for the laser cut cards in order to pop the butterflies up.
The only alternative would be to get a detailed butterfly punch (which I have never seen) and then add the butterflies on afterwards. I can see why you want them though - they really are exquisite, aren't they.

Hmm, i don't mind buying the blank cards then as they are what i want though thinking of pink instead of the blue

Sarah I would even be tempted to ask on UKS to see if any clever peeps on the Robo section could do these for you - hopefully lots cheaper than you would pay otherwise too!

If that is all they are then TBH I doubt that by the time someone designs and cuts these for you they will be any cheaper - I think they are a really good price!

They look lovely, would be nice to see your when you've made them. I think making them yourself is such a nice personal touch.

I have an idea!
Great peel off butterflies (if you need to colour them in then use OHP pens)
Use one to make a template.
Cut round the template on the card leaving the body section
Back to back 2 peel offs
Stick them to the body section of the cut out.
Or
Take 3 peel offs (A, B, C)
put the right side of B onto the left of A and the left of C onto the right of A and use the left and right sides of B and C to stick to your card.

There is a butterfly pop up paper punch available by ek success, also Karen marie klip does litle laser cut butterflies in a sheet, very dainty! perhaps they might be useful:)
