My daughter is trying to think of something to do to make some money.
She has taken a fancy to latex moulds, but we don't know anything about it really.
Has anyone used one or know any tips please
She would like to cast things and make her own moulds as well

I used to work nights and created a few chess sets using latex moulds. It was about 15 years ago, and fantasy chess was all the rage. If you get some high detailed moulds, look up painting techniques such as "dry brushing" - you can get really nice effects very quickly and easily. I also did glass engraving and created etched and engraved chess boards with intricate designs. You could use something like Photoshop or Paintshop Pro and the greyscale and "invert selection" tools to create a chessboard from just about any photo. Hang on.... I've just given myself an idea.... ;-)
