Oh, hello! :)
Actually I was testing the link between this forum and the Calendar. Also I need to do an 'Add Event' button which I had forgotten to make earlier, only problem is that my laptop has stopped working and needs to be repaired (3 days out of warranty, thanks Apple!).
Oh and also I want to have the forthcoming events at the top of the main page again, will have to have a play around and get that working :D
Philip.

3 days out of warranty! Isn't that always the way? I think that manufacturers put a countdown clock on things :D

Yep I wouldn't be surprised, I took it in to a repair company yesterday and got the impression it wasn't unusual. They tell me it will be about 300 quid to replace a logic board, groan!

It's a Mac and they are very expensive! PCs you can by for under £300 but a Mac you're looking at £1k

Yes that's about right - it's a MacBook Pro, and I've been very happy with it until recently! I really prefer it to a Windows machine, but then I've worked on Unix systems for years, and since Unix underpins the Mac it's perfect for me :)
Well, until it breaks in an obscure hardware-related way, then it's just a pain :D

I hope you get it fixed soon. It's so nice to see all the old features reappearing again :)
