A new week and a bank holiday today, it's a gorgeous day in Newcastle and I'm off to a wedding after lunch, won't be back home till after 10pm this evening sO I probably won't see you all until later on Tuesday when I've finished editing the wedding.

What is everyone else up to today and for the rest of the week?

Doing as little as possible today - especially after all that driving I did yesterday.

I'm basically doing the washing. As it's half term this week and OH is also home for part of the week, I only have to sort out my own things for tomorrow. :D

I am trying to sort out the overcharge from Dollar - they charged me $275 the day after we returned to the UK, effectively charging me in full for the 'free' upgrade they offered us at the airport as they only had Grand Caravans left!

Morning all....LOL yes I've seen the time.....sunny, breezy bank holiday Monday going on here...done all my bedding, curtains and a couple of small rugs.....feeling very houseproud today

I've been printing out pics ready to start trial LOs. I'm a bit peeved because I used my HP semi-gloss paper which is designed for laser, and it's not printed as nicely as I would have liked. I could have done the whole lot in inket on photo glossy, but in my experience, it goes a bit funny and sticks to the plastic of the album sleeves.

I did actually say to my mum yesterday that she could in fact give me the originals - seeing as the album is for them anyway! After all, they're all languishing in a couple of cardboard boxes in the bottom of a bureau!

I just have to post a pic of my parents' wedding photo - I'd not seen this one before, and it shows the dress off beautifully.

The interesting thing is that the dress was hired - yet they still cut the high neck down to a scoop neckline down for my mum! They wouldn't do that now!

Hi everyone. I hope you are enjoying the bank holiday.
Its pretty nippy and dismal where I am.....its hard to believe that this time yesterday we were down at Par in Cornwall walking along the beach and sweltering hot !
I have been playing with my blog and adding a few more photos of what I have been making but other than that I am having a good lounge around ...LOL :)

Well here today it was warm & very windy, today i did a bit of housework & got loadz of washhing out & dried all to do now is the ironing.

Think my printer has got a bit of paper stuck in it as its making awful noises:mad:

Oh wow!! It's beginning to look like old times! Well done, Phil! You just need to get the banner situation sorted out, though, as everything is off the right hand side! ;)

Can't believe it's back to work tomorrow - and there are now no bank holidays until the end of August!

Once again I seem to have achieved working a whole weeks hours in a weekend, by the time I've done Fridays wedding I reckon I'll have worked 3 weeks!! It's a funny ol existence I have...

July, August and the first half of September I have pretty much back to back weddings, me thinks I'm going to need to go on a training program just to keep up with myself, LOL!!

Talking of things I love....I got a stash delivery today from cleocrafts (http://www.cleocrafts.co.uk) of the DCWV new blossoms and butterflies stack....it's super....

Although I fear I'll be too worried to use the papers like the OUAT stash because they were too nice to use...

I've spent most of the day in bed. I woke up this morning with a terrible headache and felt dizzy and sick. It didn't get any better, and I ended up going to bed. I forced 3 slices of toast down at lunchtime, but I still felt really sick. And then went back to bed.

I got up about 6.30pm. My headache has gone, but I've got that post-migraine vacancy if you know what I mean.

I know I'm in for a bollocking when I get to work tomorrow - my boss is a real sod. What did he expect me to do? I was dizzy and sick. There was no way I could go to work today. I wish he'd rung and OH had answered the phone. I was told he would ring, but thankfully he didn't.

It's been a busy few days here. What with my friends hen do and then the wedding on Saturday (which went very well and I'm so glad the sun shone all day) and then both me and the OH are off so we've just been doing all the things we never usually get time to do normally. Now I'm knackered and could do with another few days to recover lol.

Oh well still one day to go.

Glad things are going well with your jam packed schedule Mandy. I've got a uni assignment to post by Friday and some exciting projects lined up for Easy Craft Projects which are being sponsored this month (I'll tell you all about soon I promise).

hi peeps - sorry i haven't been around for a while but oh laptop died and he stole mine for work so i've been itching to get back on here and to updateing the new blog pop along sometime and see what has been going on in foxy's world and this weekend we have a treasure hunt for the pta and a tractor drive and bbq for the church and a craft fair in the midddle of it all :rolleyes: will add the pictures from my last craft fair tonight now i've got back on line - off now for a good old nosey and love the chatterbox is back look forward to chat good way to pass the time ;)

Mandy - I have just caught up with your photos - haven't looked for about a week or so - and I am absolutely in awe of them. Of course the stunning subjects and scenery help, but the way you put them together and the relaxed feel of the photos is just fabulous.

aww thanks Louise, I would love to go to Northern Island but I think you need some kind of photo-id to go on the ferry, does anyone actually know if that's true? I'm of course asking because we're planning on going to the south west of scotland in the summer and whenever I go I see that you can get a ferry to Ireland, I would love to go! So you never know Louise ;)

No Mandy you dont need photo id to come to N.ireland as we are part of the british isles. The republic of Ireland is different its ruled by its own goverment- but still dont think you would need photo id.- hope this helps!!

Mandy, just think that not so long ago you were worrying that you may never get any work. Next year you'll be able to start charging more!

Just spent an hour in a meeting with the Deputy Director over my pay dispute, ie they want me to do more for less, isn't that always the way!

Weather's been nicer today. I hope it's going to keep it up. I hate the rain and I want to get my garden finished so I can sit out there and scrap on summer weekends.

Am hating this weather but isn't it always the way in the school hols. Tis my birthday next week and with so many people being off ill looks like I am not going to have any time to celebrate as we also have someone leaving so less staff and more hours to fill :( - I already have to do a shift during the day and then come back in the evening as it is!

Started my diet today AGAIN:mad: O TO be slim!!- i need to lose about 3 stone but just havent got the will power & i feel awful carrying this extra weight ive never been slim slim but a good bit lighter than i am now but i just love me grub..........

I keep trying to loose weight too (3 stone would be good but 4 or 5 would be better) only I have decided to go for inches instead. The less I eat and the more I exercise the more weight I put on, apparently it's because the muscle gets denser. Gym instructor says to go by how my clothes feel.

Does anyone what to come and clean my car out? It looks like a barn!

I'm seriously peeved. Not only have I annoyed my brother by taking his Compactflash card to copy the program off it instead of copying it onto some other media first, thereby depriving him of his card for the duration, but I just tried loading it - and it's a trial version of a full program I already have and which doesn't work for me!!

So, I've now got to incur the cost of sending his card back to him Recorded to ensure it gets there, and I still don't have a video editing program which will work on my computer. :(

fab day here craft fair this morning (bit slow buy good sunbathing ) then a tractor drive and bbq this evening - pass the aftersun please :p loopylou and i were in the last trailor and turned out to be the entertainment for our kids who all had a ball ;)

A day i think crafty foxs family & mine will remember for a long time as we had great fun on the tractor run we had a brillant sing song! XFACTOR could be our next stop wat you think foxy?:p

Im not long in as after the bbq there was a barn dance great fun!! Only one thing if the caller said go right I sort of went yea your right left......

Morning all from wet and soggy Newcastle, I was supposed to be giving someone private photography tuition today but the weather has put pay to that, it's pretty darned horrid, I think I might go out for lunch and that will be about it today, I am so entirely shattered from the weddings this week I think I deserve a rest!!

Not just this weekend you have been sooo busy lately Mandy you do deserve it! Just dull down here so if I am lucky I might get some washing dried. Making a lovely steak and kidney pie for lunch today so the house is smelling yummy at the moment MMMMMM!

It's pretty overcast here; not actually raining, but just sort of dull. At least it's not cold.

I couldn't find my new Eeyore teeshirt: I was going to wear it for dress down Friday at work. I took the washing down this morning (I do washing on Sundays) and found it in the dirty washing pile!! That ruddy husband of mine! I brought it down from the bedroom to iron it - and he picked it up and chucked it in the washing with some of Emma's stuff. Men!!!! :mad:

Today I'm going to try and be industrious. I've already washed out the bathroom bin and sorted out half the kitchen. The next job will be getting my craft table cleared of non-craft stuff and trying to sort out the stash a bit so it can all go in the new cupboards.

I may then actually have some space to get the stuff I want out and start work on my parents' Golden Wedding album!

Don't hold your breath, though ..... :rolleyes:

My car is clean! :) It only took 2 hours bit still needs to go through the car wash as it is too dirty for the pressure hose.

Don't you just hate it when that happens! Almost as much as when you drop a button or something from a LO that you were about to stick down and it seems to disappear to nowhere!

Tired now after a busy weekend.

Today was young peoples service in church which was lovely- it started this morning with breakfast which we all enjoyed! then the children recieved their presents for attending:)- then it was into church where the children did the service singing, reading, praying etc it was so nice to see them all enjoying themselves.

After church we went out for lunch........ Chicken dinner i had with all the trimmings.....:)yum yum!!

So now i'm just sitting down taking it easy think i'l have an early night as i've a lot on this week.

Well, there's now a bit of table visible. I have also found a load of stuff I'd forgotten I bought! Shocking, ain't I? lol

I've had IW's craft weekend on half the day. I have seen some good offers on, but honestly - if QVC averaged only 3-4 kits an hour, they'd never sell anything!!!

And lovely a person though Steph may be, gawd she doesn't half whitter on ....

Oh, and I haven't done any crafting today, either. :rolleyes:
