I am new to the forum and thought I would say hello and introduce myself.

I have been making cards since 2005 for charity after my sister lost a child through cancer so thought I might make a few cards for them to raise money. Now it is a hobby come obbession and I love it and do card making everyday lol

I live in Northampton and would like to go to craft groups or even start one up so if anyone knows of a place that is taking new people in for crafting please let me know.

I have 2 sons that have left home and seem, happy and last year I decided after 30 years of weight problems I would have a gastric band fitted. So in August I went private and had one fitted and have now lost 7 stone and have another 2 stone to go for my target weight of 10stone. So my crafting is done after a long walk.

In my weight loss journey I have met a wonderful man and will be getting married in January 2009 so things have changed so much for me now.

well if your all still awake after readiing this lol then I will pleased.

I am looking forward to meeting and chatting with some other crafters.

Have a great bank holiday

Hi Dianne, welcome to the forum.

Wow, that is a massive weight loss - so no regrets about having the gastric band?

I look forward to getting to know you.
