Ive been with Etsy for a few months now, but find that its getting pretty big. I am also with Dawanda, but the thing hasnt really got off the ground yet. Ive tried selling my stuff on Ebay, but Im getting sick and tired of their policies, rip off fees etc, so stopped selling on there.

Any suggestions ladies on where I can sell my Handmade goods. Im not too keen on doing craft shows, never done one before, so not sure how much stock you need to take with you - any advise on craft shows and other websites I can sell my stuff off, please feel free to post me a reply.

many thanks
Amanda

Hey where did that go!!!!!!!!!!! I have just posted a reply on here & it's gone :(

Anyway as i was saying - i know what you mean with regards to E Bay, sometimes i do really well but the last batch i did i only sold 1 item :( i have however put another batch on again today, so keep fingers crossed.

What about going onto your local newspaper web site that might help as we have a section on free ad's or the actual paper/site called Free ad's.

Not much but hope that helps.

Thanks for that Christine, Ebay is a funny thing isnt it. Sometimes you get loads of people watching your stuff and no sales. I always put a gallery on too, so it always adds up to 35p before you have sold it, and I dont like putting my prices up just because of their fees.

I do however have a lady who owns a shop down in sunny cornwall who wants to sell my items - great news. I have afew other shops I want to target, maybe this is the way forward.

Have you ever done a craft show.

Amanda, have you been on E Bay today at all? Only asking as i see that from the 19th of May until ........sometime in September if you put a gallery pic in you won't be charged so that will bring the cost down.

The thing is with E Bay i have found is that everyone wants everything for almost nothing (having saying that i was bidding on a digital camera & after £30 i had to give up and it went for nearly £100 - could of got it cheaper in the local shop!!!

If i find anywhere that might help i will buzz it on here
