What can we do?

Just thought I would post this thread as we are now up and running again to see what ideas you could all come up with for the future of the site. What would you like to see happening on here?

Now NO promises are being made - Philip works his little socks off as it is and I know that people would like to see the gallery and marketplace back. BUT if you can come up with a good idea that is not techically based and everyone is in agreement then we will try and see what we can do!

Go on this is your chance to say what you want!

Getting the challenges back online would be great. Many of us really enjoyed these last year.

To get around the issue of the missing gallery, a thread could be opened up and only entries posted into it so that we don't have lots of chatter between the pics.

What's happening with the album thing? i know I have one and there is a link in my siggy for it. Does everyone have one? If so we could then put pics in those and have a link thread.

I offered to host a greetings card one, remember! Didn't get any response. :(

Maybe we are more of a chatty forum and not a swapping or challenge one as there are so many people doing different things.

It could be that tutorials would be the way to go forward to get people into other crafts.

Not just a case of getting a host - but also a prize or would people be willing to do the challenges without them?

I don't mind hosting a challenge. I'm sure that most people wouldn't mind doing them just for the fun of it and seeing if others like their creations. I know I would.

How about making doing one on a general theme to see if many people enter. You could make it really general like a colour, or a father's day gift.

We've had 'open' challenges based on a colour or theme. It was then up to us whether we made a card, box, scrapbook page or whatever. Sometimes, leaving the theme too open means we're all so spoilt for choice that no-one enters! lol

I will have a go at a challenge whether there is a prize or not.

Perhaps other peeps could put their names on here and we can come up with a theme or something between us.

It would be good if everyone could do the challenge in their own prefered craft.
