National Scrapbooking Day

It's going to be National Scrapbook Day on May 3rd. Is anyone taking part in anything to celebrate it?

I'm working so I probably wont even have time to sit and scrap anything. I'll probably treat myself and go buy a few bits of new stash though. I'll call it my way of celebrating hehe :)

I'm combining it with our normal crop.

Our members are pretty busy that weekend as it is a bank holiday, so it wasn't easy to get the numbers.

:) My son is coming round on May 3rd to help me put together the final pages of a scrapbook for his partners birthday. I had no idea it was scrapbook day so it's a happy coincidence.
Mind you...I dont think we need a special day to get any of us scrapping !! lol :D

Have yet to get into scrapbooking so won't be scrapping on that day - will probably be crafting of some sort though so will think of you all scrapbookers.

I made a birthday card for a 6 yr old and a necklace because I'm still learning. Haven't scrapped because I still can't lift all my stash out of the cupboard and bring it to a table :D
